Highly recommend having a reservation. We were lucky to have a seat outside, otherwise people wait ~30 mins. For $46 per person, I think it’s a great deal, you get 15 sashimi pieces each person max - but unlimited for others. Their side dishes are hit or miss but sushi were decent. Food came out fairly quick.

The food is generally decent. Fresh enough. Sushi/maki choices are good. Other food items are hit or miss. It’s not expensive for the quality of food, and you need to have that mindset. You get what you pay. The male manager wasn’t very friendly. Other staff members were great!

Tang Sushi is such a hidden gem in the East Village! For the price, the quality completely exceeded my expectations. The restaurant has a beautiful modern Japanese atmosphere with a warm wooden interior and an open sushi bar where you can watch everything being prepared fresh. The Nori Tacos were incredibly crispy, especially the Salmon Ikura version—the salmon was buttery and the ikura added a perfect pop of freshness. The Yellowtail Jalapeño was delicate and refreshing with a light yuzu sauce that let the fish shine. The Sea Scallop Crudo was one of my favorites; the scallops were thick, sweet, and practically melted in my mouth. I also loved the Shrimp Tempura, which was light, crispy, and not greasy at all. The Crispy Rice with Tuna had the perfect balance of crunchy rice and flavorful tuna. For hot dishes, both the Teriyaki Steak and Beef Yakitori were cooked beautifully—juicy, tender, and full of smoky flavor. The sushi rolls weren't overloaded with sauces, so you could actually taste the quality of the fish. Phenomenal AYCE Experience for this newly grand opening sushi and sashimi restaurant – Incredibly Fresh! I’ve been to quite a few all-you-can-eat sushi spots, but Tang Sushi completely blows the competition out of the water. The standout feature here is the undeniable quality and freshness of their seafood. Every single piece of sashimi, nigiri, and specialty roll and even the hot food from the kitchen tasted incredibly clean, bright, and premium. You can tell they don't compromise on ingredients just because it's AYCE; the tuna, yellow tail and salmon practically melted in my mouth. On top of the fantastic food, the service was absolutely excellent. The staffs here were attentive, welcoming, and incredibly efficient. Our orders came out quickly, empty plates were cleared right away, and our water glasses were never left empty. If you're looking for high-quality seafood and great service without breaking the bank, Tang Sushi is an absolute must-visit. I will definitely be back!

Amazing AYCE sushi spot! For just $46 per person, you get omakase-quality sushi and sashimi, and for an extra $10, unlimited hot sake, cocktails, beer, and soft drinks—I definitely got my money’s worth. The presentation is beautiful and the fish is incredibly fresh. They have eel, yellowtail, tuna, salmon, blue crab, plus plenty of sushi, hand rolls, and specialty rolls. The Taco Roll was my favorite—small, flavorful, and easy to order again and again. The appetizer selection is also impressive. The miso soup, tempura, karaage, and salads were all great, and the chicken and beef skewers are must-orders. Even the desserts were surprisingly good, especially the matcha cheesecake and ice cream. They also offer premium à la carte items at very reasonable prices—toro for $4, and uni or jumbo sweet shrimp for $6. Definitely one of the best sushi AYCE experiences I’ve had!
